Representative Projects

The project concerns the design and supervision of the electromechanical installations of the AMAN RESORT COMPLEX and consisted mainly in the interior demolition of the existing old hotel and the restoration - rehabilitation of the traditional buildings to an up-to-date seven star resort.

The complex consists of the rehabilitated traditional buildings on the island, a total buildings area of 12.000m², and the new on shore buildings with a total area of 3.000m².

The design of the electromechanical installations includes the following:

  • Water Installation: Domestic Cold and Hot Water
  • Sewage and Storm Water
  • Fire Fighting and Fire Detection Installations
  • Irrigation System
  • Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems with simultaneous operation for Heating and Cooling
  • Electrical Power Installations for Power, Lighting and Specific Lighting for Buildings and Surrounding Area
  • Medium Voltage Electrical Installation with two Substations, on and out of the island
  • Low Current Electrical Installations
  • Buildings Management System (BMS)

The design was in a final stage including floor and top view plans, isometric diagrams, sections, construction details, material specifications, quality procedures, technical descriptions, material take-off documents, cost estimate, etc.

The supervision was done by a group of engineers on site during the whole period of construction.
